Letter from the VPAR
Dear Alumnae of Beta Upsilon Chapter,
I am Madison Linville, your new Vice President of Alumnae Relations (VPAR). I am a sophomore student at Ohio University pursuing a Journalism major in Strategic Communications, with a specialization in marketing. Along with being super involved in Sigma Kappa, I am also a tour guide and a learning community leader at OU, and I am involved in the Schey Sales Centre and PRSSA.
I am so beyond honored to have been elected as the new VPAR not only for the leadership experience but for the many exciting things that this year has in store! I not only am in charge of sending out updates from the chapter in newsletters but planning the events that allow you all to stayed connected with Beta Upsilon. Whether it is a weekend back in Athens letting you reconnect with each other, or the Networking events that allow the current chapter members to talk to you all about future career plans; I truly enjoy planning every function that allows me to stay connected with you all. Sigma Kappa is truly special to me and I have been part of this organization for two years now and it feels as if the girls I have grown so close to I have known forever. As Alumnae of Beta Upsilon, I know you all experienced this same feeling in college and I am sure the bond you made in college with your sisters is still as strong as the days you spent in Athens, Ohio. This position is very rewarding to me and I will forever be grateful that Sigma Kappa has allowed me to gain leadership qualities I never knew were possible.
